HEAD BAKER

Do you love pastry, breads, baking, and a wonderful sense of community? We do too! Our lovely head baker will not be coming back from maternity leave, and so we find ourselves with an opening for a lead role in our bakery team.

The person in this position will work closely with the owner to lead the bakery team and ensure that items are up to the highest standards. This includes maintaining the FOH bakery case, prepping and baking pastries and breads for the summer Farmers' Market, spearheading the production/packing of our granola for our growing portfolio of wholesale accounts, and managing the creation of desserts for Cellar 65 (our downstairs evening venue).

Gluten free baking experience is a definite plus in this role, as is the ability to organize and coordinate the team and inventory stock. Strong communication skills are a must. You will need at least two years of experience in a commercial or restaurant bakery to be considered for this role.

This is a full-time role with some special evening events and/or weekends. The pay for this position is $24-30/hr (which includes a base pay plus participation in our tip share) as well as the other benefits listed above.

PREP COOK / BAKERY ASSISTANT

We are growing our culinary team and have a need for a Prep Cook for a minimum of 30 hours/week to train in preparation for our busy summer season. Baking experience will also be highly regarded.

The person in this position will be responsible for prepping all the items needed each day to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen, and work within our current team to learn how to successfully assemble sandwiches, salads, waffles and other menu items. Past experience in prep work or a production bakery is required.

Wages are dependent on experience and demonstrated ability of speed and accuracy. This position participates in our tip share, which adds approx $6/hr to your base pay during slow periods and more during busy times. Availability on Saturday and Sundays is required, but you will also be guaranteed two days off each week.

BARBACK / RUNNER (position filled)

We are looking a motivated person for our downstairs venue at Cellar 65, our evening venue, which was recently highlighted in PDX Eater as one of the "Hottest New Restaurants in Bend." Applicants must be 21 and over, and be comfortable with navigating stairs while holding plates.

This position will be responsible for making sure the bar is stocked appropriately, bussing tables, running food, doing dishes as needed, and ensuring clean glassware. Depending on skill and experience, server duties can also be discussed.

Current hours are Thurs, Fri, Sat from 4:30-10:00pm, with plans to add an additional evening in the near future.

Wage is dependent on experience, and would participate in our tip share program.
